Sony/ATV hires Thomas Krottinger as Senior Manager, International A&R | Music Business Worldwide

Sony/ATV Music Publishing has appointed Thomas Krottinger as Senior Manager, International A&R, based in the company’s Los Angeles office.

Prior to taking up the newly-created role, Krottinger spent three years on the A&R team at Prescription Songs and Kemosabe Records working under Prescription Songs President and Kemosabe SVP A&R Beka Tischker.

At Prescription/Kemosabe, he worked with a number of songwriters, producers and artists including Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Bonnie McKee (Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson), FRENSHIP, Chloe Angelides, Allie X, Nate Campany, Vancouver Sleep Clinic and the Space Primates.

Krottinger takes up his new position at Sony/ATV with immediate effect, reporting to both Sony/ATV President, Worldwide Creative Guy Moot and Senior Vice President, Co-Head of West Coast A&R Amanda Berman-Hill.

He will serve as the contact point for all Sony/ATV international songwriters who are either based in Los Angeles or are visiting the city to write.

His responsibilities will include pairing up songwriters and organizing writing sessions, arranging meetings between songwriters and industry contacts and pitching songs.

Krottinger started his career in the music touring department of leading entertainment and sports agency Creative Artists Agency where he worked for music agent Jeff Frasco and then music agent Marlene Tsuchii booking domestic and international tours.Music Business Worldwide
